Will you migrate my website from another hosting provider to GoMahalo?

Yes! We will migrate your site to GoMahalo for free. From your Websites dashboard click the orange button "+ NEW WEBSITE" and complete the secure migrate website form.

What steps are involved in the migration process?

Step 1: From your Websites dashboard, click the orange button "+ NEW WEBSITE", choose a website name and complete the secure migrate website form.

Step 2: GoMahalo's customer success team will receive your migration request. We will then log into your WordPress site, download a copy of the site and add it to your GoMahalo account. The site will be available to you on a GoMahalo staging domain. (For example, http://staging-f94n7l.gomahalo.com/.) We will notify you via email when the migration is completed.

Step 3: From your Websites dashboard, set up the domain, complete the hosting payment and launch the website.

Will the migration cause the website to go down?

No. During the migration process your site will continue to be hosted at your hosting provider and will be live on the web.

How long is migration? Will you let me know when the migration is completed?

Migrations are typically completed within 24 to 72 hours. We will notify you via email when the migration is completed.

What should I do after the migration is completed?

We will notify you via email when the migration is completed. Once completed, you can access the site from your GoMahalo account. The site will be available to you on a GoMahalo staging domain. Next, set up the domain, complete the hosting payment and launch the website.
